Traveling alone? Good news from Tauck: It is waiving its single supplement fees on river cruises and some land tours this year.

Tauck will waive the fee for Category 1 cabins on its river ships in Europe for cruises departing in 2026. And it will knock $1,000 off the single supplement for certain cabin categories -- typically categories 4 and 5 -- on select cruises.

Those who would rather travel solo by land will also be able to save. Tauck said it would reduce fees by up to $600 on 105 departures on 37 itineraries across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

Solo travel continues to surge, with operators and river lines launching specials and waiving fees to meet the demand.

Riviera Travel, for example, will launch a solo river cruise ship next year, while some tour operators, like G Adventures, dedicate entire itinerary collections that cater to single travelers.
