The Corinthia Rome, the first hotel in Italy for Corinthia Hotels, is accepting reservations for stays starting in February.

Set in the former headquarters of the Bank of Italy on Piazza del Parlamento, the 60-room property was built in 1914 by architect Marcello Piacentini and will offer accommodations on seven floors.

Original features, such as marble paneling, frescoes and carved wood, have been preserved, while new interiors by G.A. Design add contemporary design elements.

There are 21 suites, two restaurants, a bar overlooking an internal courtyard and a spa located in what was the bank's vault. The spa features three treatment rooms, two bathing pools and tailored therapies in collaboration with 111Skin and Seed to Skin brands.

Led by chef Carlo Cracco and executive chef Alessandro Buffolino, the property will offer the Ocra Bar for drinks and light fare; Viride, the signature restaurant; and Piazzetta, for all-day Roman dishes served in the internal courtyard.
