Lifestyle hospitality group Ennismore has three Mexico openings planned for this year, with two properties coming to Mexico City and a third debuting in Cancun.
The Hyde Mexico City Reforma is scheduled to open mid-2026, situated along the city's famed Paseo de la Reforma. The 106-room hotel will feature Niko, a Japanese restaurant, as well as the Sun & Moon cocktail bar. The property will also offer a gym and meetings rooms.
Also opening mid-2026 is the 100-room Mama Shelter Mexico City, which will debut in the Roma Norte neighborhood. The property will house a restaurant and bar, a courtyard with a stage and a rooftop bar. Additional amenities will include meetings spaces, a gym and private event facilities.
The largest of the three openings will be Rixos Cancun, which is set to launch by late 2026. The all-inclusive, beachfront resort will offer 345 rooms, multiple dining venues, live entertainment, sports and fitness activities, a spa and dedicated facilities for children and teens.
The Rixos Cancun will mark the all-inclusive brand's first foray into the Americas, expanding the concept beyond its current Europe, Middle East and Asia footprint.
The Mexico openings come amid a period of rapid expansion for Ennismore, which operates via a joint venture with Accor and has a portfolio 16 brands.
