Vidanta is paying commission on VidantaWorld hotel bookings, along with supplying tools and education resources for travel advisors.

The BON Hotel at VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta and the Jungala Hotel at VidantaWorld Riviera Maya are commissionable. The hotels opened this month.

The hotel opening in Nuevo Vallarta will be followed by the Dec. 16 opening of Cirque du Soleil's "Ludo," a water-themed dinner show performed in a custom theater. In September 2026, the BON Luxury Theme Park will open in Nuevo Vallarta. (BON stands for "Beauty of Nature.")

The theme park will operate with limited capacity and exclusive access for resort guests during its first year, to control crowding and maintain service levels.

The theme park will feature 23 attractions, 25 restaurants and a Cirque du Soleil zone. According to Vidanta, bundled packages that include park access and "Ludo" will be commissionable once released.

Trade resources coming in early 2026

Grupo Vidanta executive vice president Ivan Chavez said the VidantaWorld expansion marks a shift in the company's distribution strategy. "We've never really had to push to get new distribution to the properties because we were always full," he said. "But now we have parks to fill, shows to fill, and we want to find the best clients."

He added that Vidanta intends to build long-term relationships with advisors as the project launches. "We want to build a beautiful relationship with the trade, and we want to earn their trust."

Vidanta will launch the VidantaWorld Travel Advisor Academy in January, offering dedicated training modules and sales tools. The company has hired industry veteran Dianna Rom, formerly of Windstar Cruises, as senior vice president of sales, responsible for trade engagement.

Chavez said the company sees demand coming from multigenerational families, adults seeking premium resort environments and affluent travelers who have historically turned to cruise entertainment or major U.S. theme park operators. Pricing will be comparable to U.S. theme parks, with tickets selling for approximately $150 per person, per day.
