Jerry Limone, Travel Weekly's web editor in charge of breaking news, has been promoted to news editor, effective immediately.
In his new role, Limone will handle news story development for both online and print, working with the reporters to identify breaking news and develop longer-form coverage with additional context and analysis.
Limone has been web editor since 2008; in that role he assigned, edited and published news reports on TravelWeekly.com and contributed his own news and feature reporting. He also compiles the publication's morning Daily Bulletin. He joined Travel Weekly in 2000 as a beat reporter covering corporate travel and technology and later worked as a copy editor.
