Amadeus River Cruises is continuing its focus on growing its market share in North America with a series of appointments.
The river line promoted Marcus Leskovar from executive vice president to president, where he will be charged with leading the company during its next phase of growth.
Leskovar was responsible for international sales and marketing in his previous role, and with his promotion to president, Amadeus added a new vice president of sales: Hannah Westerdoll, who joins the line from AmaWaterways.
Leskovar has been with Amadeus for nearly a decade and was credited by the company with growing its visibility in North America.
Westerdoll was with AmaWaterways for eight years, where she held senior leadership roles such as senior director of sales and director of key accounts. In her role with Amadeus, she will oversee all sales efforts.
"Joining a family-owned company with such a strong sense of purpose and long-term vision is incredibly exciting," Westerdoll said. "What inspires me most is the opportunity to work alongside a team that truly values travel advisors."
Amadeus also added Victoria Singleton as director of marketing; she joined the company in 2024 from Northstar Travel Group (Travel Weekly's parent company). Singleton focuses on brand strategy and market positioning.
"These changes reflect the momentum we're seeing and the direction we're intentionally taking as a company," Leskovar said. "Demand continues to grow in North America, and we are investing in experienced, relationship-driven professionals to support our travel advisor partners and strengthen our presence in this market.
"Both Hannah and Victoria's deep understanding of the advisor community and their proven leadership make them a natural fit for where we're headed."
