United Airlines said Thursday that it secured five reallocated gates at Chicago O'Hare and in 2026 plans to expand its Chicago network with 10 new domestic destinations.

United will serve six of the 10 destinations exclusively from O'Hare. Those include Santa Barbara and Monterey in California; Eugene, Oregon; Paducah, Kentucky; Lynchburg, Virginia.; and St. George, Utah. The four other destinations are Rochester, Minnesota; Wausau, Wisconsin; Marquette, Michigan; and Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Saturday seasonal service will begin in summer 2026 for Monterey, St. George and Idaho Falls. Service for the seven other destinations will begin in spring 2026.

The new gates also will enable United to resume service between Chicago and Tel Aviv in November and extend its seasonal Dublin service to year-round. United also plans to make West Palm Beach service year-round and daily.

Under a 2018 use and lease agreement that governs O'Hare, its gates are reallocated based on the number of flights each carrier flew in the prior year, United said.
