Trafalgar will add a third ship to its river fleet next year and begin cruising the Seine in France.
The tour operator will launch its river cruise operations this year with the Trafalgar Verity and Trafalgar Reverie. And come April 2027, the Trafalgar Harmonie will join the fleet with a Seine itinerary that includes Paris and Normandy.
Trafalgar did not indicate where it would get the ship to sail the Seine. The Verity and Reverie will be ships chartered from sister company Uniworld Boutique River Cruises. The River Queen (built in 1999) will become the Trafalgar Verity and sail the Rhine, while the River Princess (built in 2001) will become the Trafalgar Reverie and sail the Danube.

"As Trafalgar expands its river cruise fleet, debuting on one of Europe's most iconic waterways is a natural next step," said Trafalgar river cruise vice president Damien O'Connor. "France remains a perennial favorite among our travelers, and this new Seine itinerary offers a fresh way to experience the destination through immersive river cruising, brought to life with Trafalgar's signature experiences and storytelling."
Indeed, river cruise lines have reported increased demand for itineraries in France post-Olympics.
The Harmonie will accommodate 126 passengers and have a 3-to-1 guest-to-staff ratio. The ship will feature seven cabin categories and be designed with blues, greens and earth tones.

The itinerary will include visiting local families at cider farms in Normandy and a trademark "Make Travel Matter" experience in Paris focused on history preservation and sustainable urban planning. Travelers will also visit Monet's gardens in Giverny and the Normandy WWII beaches.
The eight-day itinerary starts at $3,669 and was designed so it could be combined with Trafalgar's land tours in France.
