The Travel Institute has launched the sixth edition of its TripKit agent training, calling the latest version of the course "fully reimagined."
TripKit is designed for new travel advisors, with topics including sales, service, business operations, legal considerations and technology.
It includes the new 12th edition of the institute's Travel Career Development digital and print textbook; the fifth edition of Exploring the World, a guide to geography, destinations and cultural insights; Expert Insider Sessions of stories and challenges from real travel professionals; TripKit Tracks, communications that help motivate and keep students accountable; an interactive study plan with quizzes and videos; the Entrepreneur's Checklist to help students launch their travel business; and the Travel Agent Proficiency (TAP) test.
"It's our sixth edition, yet it’s truly an all-new learning experience," said Guida Botelho, vice president of the Travel Institute. "We've upgraded, expanded, reorganized -- in fact, fully reimagined -- to align new agent capabilities with the needs of today's travel industry."
Applications are open for a $150 scholarship for the course through January. Nearly 300 aspiring advisors have been awarded scholarships thus far, the institute said. The course typically costs $499.
