For the first time since the ship entered service in 2017, Silversea's Silver Muse has undergone a major renovation.

The ship now accommodates 632 passengers at double occupancy (up from 596) with the creation of smaller suites that replaced larger ones. The Silver Muse's new Medallion Suites offer "the perfect balance between space and value," Silversea said.

These suites feature a veranda and a bathroom with a double vanity, bathtub and walk-in shower. The bedroom has a king-size bed.

The major culinary addition is Silversea's SALT (Sea And Land Taste) culinary program, complete with SALT Kitchen and SALT Bar. Silversea said guests order from destination-inspired food and drink menus, deepening their connection to the regions they visit. Silversea launched SALT in 2021 on the new Silver Moon.

Other culinary changes on the Silver Muse are a refreshed menu for in-suite dining and an enhanced selection poolside at The Grill. La Terrazza debuted a tableside martini cart, new signature cocktails and nonalcoholic options.

Dolce Vita's aperitivo experience features new signature cocktails, such as the Cerberus Negroni: gin, Pedro Ximenez‑infused Campari and sage butter vermouth. The Arts Cafe elevated its pastries and introduced Ronnefeldt tea selections, Silversea said.

The ship also has a new pickleball court, putting green and golf simulator experience. The pool deck has new furnishings.

The Muse is currently sailing in the Mediterranean.

Silver Spirit next up for a renovation

The Silver Spirit, built in 2009, will be refurbished later this year at Fincantieri's Palermo shipyard, where the ship was lengthened in 2018. The ship is getting expanded public spaces, revitalized interiors and the SALT Kitchen and SALT Bar.

"Inspired by the chic decor of Silver Muse, the refreshed Silver Spirit will offer a more spacious, contemporary ambience," Silversea said.
