Richard Aquino will leave travel insurance company Allianz Partners for Acendas Travel on Jan. 27. Aquino will replace Brent Blake as president of the travel management company, which is based in Overland Park, Kansas.

Blake is retiring but will remain with Acendas through the first quarter to help with Aquino's transition into the new role.

Aquino has been with Allianz for more than 20 years, most recently as its vice president and head of sales. He also has experience in startups, creating or co-founding a travel booking software business, a media agency and ski tour business Outrageous Adventures, which he founded while a student at Towson State University.
Blake has been with Acendas for 27 years. His first role with the TMC was chief operating officer. In 2001, he became co-owner and president, and in 2018, president and owner.
