The Palladium Hotel Group debuted its Unexpected Hotels brand in Playa d'en Bossa, Ibiza, on April 17.
The adults-only Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, formerly The Ushuaia Tower, is the result of an extensive renovation.
A key theme of the 181-room property is entertainment, from the facade, where dancers perform aerial choreographies, to Drum Drops, a drum and water show at the Oyster & Caviar Bar.
Novelty suites include The Sin Box, a cabin where guests can exchange secrets and AI-generated penances, and The Unexpected Future, which features a tarot reader.
Other attractions include electronic Flamentronic flamenco performances with giant puppets and fans and life-size remote-controlled horses. Amenities include The Body Hub gym and XPA for spa treatments.
Dining options include Up Ibiza Sky Society, a rooftop bar overlooking the sea for cocktails and burgers, and the Antidote Recharge Station for dishes with a wellness focus.
The property will open Gordon Ramsay Restaurants' first Hell's Kitchen in Europe in June.
