Luxury safari operator AndBeyond will open two new tented camps in Botswana's Okavango Delta in March: Sandibe Under Canvas and Nxabega Under Canvas. Each will feature just three tents, accommodating a maximum of six travelers per site.
Sandibe Under Canvas is located in a concession known for year-round predator sightings, including lions, leopards, cheetahs and wild dogs. The camp will offer game drives, walking safaris and community visits.
Nxabega Under Canvas focuses on the Delta's aquatic environment, providing mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions, catch-and-release fishing when water levels permit and traditional game drives. The location highlights the region's seasonal floodplains and waterways.
Both camps feature super king beds, double showers, running water and Starlink WiFi, the first internet connectivity offered in AndBeyond's Botswana Under Canvas properties. Solar power systems support in-room charging stations and vehicle charging points.
Itinerary includes both new camps
A newly structured seven-night circuit begins with three nights at Chobe Under Canvas, followed by four nights split between the two new Okavango Delta camps. According to AndBeyond, this itinerary balances predator viewing, iconic floodplain scenery, and diverse activities including wildlife tracking, walking, and local community engagement.
The offering is tailored for small groups, couples, and families seeking a blend of adventure, exclusivity and environmental responsibility. Pricing starts at $4,840 per person sharing.
