Globespan Travel Management has acquired Key Travel Inc., the U.S. division of Key Travel (No. 58 on Travel Weekly's Power List).

The acquisition comes on the heels of Trip.com Group's acquisition of Key Travel U.K. and its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which will be integrated in to the Trip.Biz platform.

Globespan, a travel management company with headquarters in Toronto and a U.S. office in Los Angeles, plans to continue to operate Key Travel's U.S. business.

Key Travel's U.S. clients will have uninterrupted service, Globespan said, adding they will benefit from its technology and 24/7 support. Globespan, in turn, will benefit from deepened capabilities in nonprofit, academic and humanitarian travel.

"Key Travel Inc. has built a strong legacy serving purpose-driven organizations across the United States," Globespan president Daniel Moretta said. "We are proud to welcome their team and clients to Globespan, where our blend of innovation and personalized service will drive greater efficiency, compliance and care."
