JetBlue's inaugural airport lounge will open on Dec. 18 in Terminal 5 at New York's JFK Airport, and the airline has branded the concept BlueHouse.
The two-story lounge at JFK will accommodate up to 140 guests and be available to Mosaic 4 members of JetBlue's loyalty program, JetBlue Premier cardholders and transatlantic Mint customers. Flyers in the first two categories are allowed one complimentary guest. All other companions must pay $39.

The reason for the initial limited access is to "make sure the lounge does not become an overcrowded space," JetBlue president Marty St. George said during a media preview of the lounge. "We have to make absolutely sure that this really scratches the itch for the customers who want this experience."
Beginning in February, BlueHouse "limited-access passes" will be available for levels 1 through 3 Mosaic members, JetBlue Plus and Business cardholders, non-transatlantic Mint customers and annual BlueHouse members.
When asked if lounge access eventually will be part of negotiations for corporate customers, St. George said "it all depends on occupancy."
"Fundamentally, this is not a business-driven product or a leisure-driven product, it's a JetBlue customer-driven product," St. George added. "This is not [a way] to get more business customers to fly transatlantic Mint, although I would love for that to happen. This is primarily based on our existing customer base that had a pent-up demand for this type of product."
The space features high-speed Wi-Fi, ample power outlets, a game room, open seating and quiet areas. At first, the food mainly will feature grab-and-go items prepared by Union Square Events. Phase two calls for a kitchen, possibly in the second half of 2026.
The downstairs full bar seats 10, and the upstairs bar serves beer and wine. JetBlue partnered with local businesses The Greats of Craft, Please Don't Tell, Joe Coffee, Dona and Steven Smith Teamaker for its beverages.
JetBlue's second BlueHouse lounge is planned for Terminal C at Boston Logan International Airport in 2026. Fort Lauderdale as a third location is under evaluation.
