For the second year in a row, downtown Las Vegas will host a free music, art and culinary event on the same weekend as the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix race on the Strip.
The Neon City Festival, Nov. 21 to 23, is an all-ages experience with outdoor stages at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center and Fremont Street Experience.
The "festival without fences" will feature more than 40 live performances; food from local restaurants and food trucks; and interactive art and entertainment. The Plaza Hotel and Casino will ignite fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights.
Performers include Good Charlotte, Deadmau5, Two Friends, Breaking Benjamin, Fitz and the Tantrums and De La Soul as well as Gym Class Heroes and Hoobastank.
"There's nothing like the energy of Neon City Festival, and this year's headliners bring something for everyone," said Jeff Victor, the festival's CEO.
A VIP experience has been added at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. VIP Floor Access ($50) includes lower-level viewing, access to a private bar and dedicated restrooms. The Elevated VIP Upgrade ($100) includes access to a premium bar and the top viewing deck.
