On Hawaii Island, four-night luxury dog retreats are coming to Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort next year from March 15 to 19 and from May 13 to 17.
For the retreat, dogs and their human companions receive four nights' accommodation at Kona Village with programming that includes a dog-friendly welcome luau, yoga sessions, welcome amenities for every dog, an on-site concierge, dog-friendly airport transfers and guidance from an expert trainer. "Kona Village was founded on a profound connection to land, culture, and
community," said Daniel Scott, regional vice president and managing

In conjunction with the retreat, roundtrip, private charter flights with service from Los Angeles to Kailua-Kona are available through Bark Air, a public charter operator that caters to dogs (and their human travel companions). Seats are limited to up to 10 humans and their dogs.
Bark Air's roundtrip flights are priced at $15,000 for one person and up to two dogs. The booking window for airfare closes Feb 8 for March's retreat and April 8 for May's.
