Chable Hotels, the Mexico-based luxury hospitality brand recognized for its wellness-driven design and culinary-forward resorts, is expanding into branded residential real estate with three communities launching by 2027. The developments, located in Costalegre (Jalisco), Valle de Guadalupe (Baja California) and Yucatan near Merida, reflect a broader surge in branded residential projects across Mexico as global luxury players increase investment in the sector.

The expansion comes at a time when Mexico has emerged as one of the most active branded residence markets in the world, with new residential projects announced or underway from hospitality brands like Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Rosewood, St. Regis, Montage and Auberge Resorts Collection as well as fashion houses including Armani and Nautica. Developers and hospitality groups are responding to rising demand from affluent buyers seeking service-rich second homes with resort amenities, wellness experiences and rental flexibility. Chable's entry positions the company among global brands leveraging Mexico's migration, investment and lifestyle trends.

Chable Costalegre

The Residences at Chable Costalegre will be part of Reserva Tezcalame, a master-planned development along Jalisco's Pacific coastline. Opening is anticipated in Q3 2027, with 19 oceanview homes and an adjacent 71-key hotel.

The project is designed by Cuaik SDS with landscape architecture by Maat Handasa, drawing on regional craftsmanship and coastal materials. Planned amenities include three restaurants overseen by chef Jorge Vallejo, a beach club, spa facilities, family programming and community event spaces.

Chable Valle de Guadalupe

In Baja California's wine country, The Residences at Chable Valle de Guadalupe will accompany a new 70-key resort slated to open in late 2026. The enclave will include 10 design-focused homes by architect Cuaik CDS, featuring vineyard views, large terraces, indoor-outdoor living layouts, wine cellars and smart-home systems. Owners will have access to wellness programming and culinary experiences, also led by Vallejo.

Chable Yucatan

Located beside the original Chable Yucatan resort, the Residences at Chable Yucatan mark the brand's first foray into residential development. The collection will include two- to five-bedroom homes designed by Jose Lombana Arquitectos with interiors by Paulina Moran Design. Options for rooftop gardens, private spas or gyms and cinema rooms will be available.

Ownership and rental program

According to the brand, the residential projects are intended as an extension of Chable's existing hospitality experience, offering access to hotel facilities, wellness programming and dining. Homeowners may elect to join a fully managed rental program, in which homes are marketed as part of the participating hotel's room inventory. Bookings within the rental pool are commissionable to travel advisors at established nightly rates.

Two- and three-bedroom homes are expected to be delivered turnkey within 18 months, while four- and five-bedroom properties are scheduled for 24-month delivery timelines. The Chable Valle de Guadalupe and Chable Costalegre are currently under development, with the Chable Yucatan already in operation.
