American Cruise Lines (ACL) christened its newest ship last week: the American Pioneer.
The Patriot-class ship embarked on its inaugural cruise following its christening on the 16-day Grand Florida Coast & Keys itinerary. The christening was held Nov. 10 in Key West. The ship, the 21st in ACL's fleet, will sail coastal cruises.

The American Pioneer accommodates 130 guests, and each stateroom and suite has a private balcony. The ship has multiple lounges and dining options.
The American Pioneer is American Cruise Lines' second Patriot-class ship. The first one, the American Patriot, debuted in June. According to the company's website, two more are scheduled to join the fleet in 2026 (American Ranger and American Maverick) and two more in 2028 (American Navigator and American Mariner).
