Members of American Airlines' loyalty program will have access to free WiFi across the entire narrowbody fleet by the end of January.

American said on Tuesday that it has begun rolling out the free service for narrowbody and dual-cabin regional planes, though it did not specify the number of planes that currently have the service.

American's Boeing 787 deliveries will also have free WiFi by the end of January, while the remainder of the carrier's widebody fleet will be equipped with the offering by early spring.

The airline's high-speed WiFi is provided by satellite companies Intelesat and Viasat. Free WiFi for AAdvantage members is being supported with sponsorship from AT&T.
